God behind
God behind
When the time is getting tough and everything around is going down, we think only one - Why? We try to reflect our past, search a minutes, hours, days behind us, find logical reasons to answer this question. But later we realize, that there is actually no simple answer to satisfy this “Why”.
“Why?” is question full of pain and nonunderstanding. Sometimes our hunting for the answers is giving us only frustration, anger and sadness.
When we try to figure out the situation, than “Why?” is coming freqently to our mind usually as angry chief to lead our mision to find answers. But the problem starts, when the answers are not coming as we expect. Than the space, where we seek responsibilities, reasons, mistakes etc. is becoming bigger and bigger. In this space, we can very easily slide to judgement or fall into selfpity. As Christians we know, that judgement belongs to God. That means, leave it to Him. But it is very easy to say and sometimes quite difficult to make it. It depends how difficult the specific situation is for us. Judgement can be dangerous for us, when it is done with wrong attitude. What I mean? When we talk about “judgement”, we need to understand, that judgement itself comes naturaly. That is not something, what is wrong or forbiden. Judgement is not a sin. Sin can be born by judgement only, when made by our own understanding and that means without God! When we crash with hard situation in our life we naturaly cry for the judgement to this situation and find offender or quilt. But in the case we belong to God, we can´t depend only on our own intellect. It will lead us far away from God and won´t give the answer. Because of this, I don´t like one face of “Why?”:-) This question is coming with friendly face to help me find the answers, but it respects only my own understanding and separate me from my faith. “Why?” is giving me the chance to judge the situation, people, myself and even God but with the list of “answers” does not seem to be really satisfied. Why is it so? Because the “Why?” does not seek God´s answer. “Why?” wants to know and control! By this question we actually want to have the situation under our control. But this can bring just frustration and anger... (m)
Ps: When they hurled their insults at Him, he did not retalite; when He suffered, he made no threats. Instead He entrusted himself to Him who judges justly. (1.Petr 2.23)
