Deliriously happy (is) the man, seeking “the shield” for himself in You!

In whose heart makes this route (pillgrimage)

Heart is the center of our living. Heart is the “basement” in our relationship, between us and God. There is actually nothing more interesting and more worthy for God than our heart. We can bring Him everything what we have and what we possess. We can show Him nice suit, smiling face, loud apllause, whatever we want, but if our heart is laying somewhere else, if our heart is making different type of route, we are actually loosing.

What is interesting for me, that there is no promise in the Bible, that God will protect my heart. It seems, that he is leaving this kind of keeping up to us. I think that is, because the heart is the only ground in our life, where we can say “no” to God. That´s the place of choice, real center, where we rule, where we make decisions. But in the case, that we´ve got freedom of the choice, in this matter,

we´ve got responsibility, how we choose, as well. It is us who choose the route. If we choose the God´s route, “He is” who is providing the rest. In the book of Proverbs He is saying:“Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life”. In that matter, for me than, is not actually question “how can I keep my heart”, but “what my heart really is like”? Because before I can protect something, or protect it from something , first I need to know what it is. Than if I know, it is easier for me to know how to keep it. In my opinion the “best” answer ever is coming from Jesus himself. I suppose, if I would ask him, “what is my heart like?”, I would get probably same answer like the disciples:“Where your heart is your treasure will be also”. He is actually simply saying: “Your heart is, what is most worthy for you and what you love in your life”. My heart is not laying only in the place of my treasure, but the “treasure itself” is giving me real picture, what my heart really is like. But than the way of keeping my heart, is simple the way of love. The subject of my love is actualy my protection as well. Because in this case, that my heart is making the route of “seeking treasure” in God, his love is becoming biggest “shield” ever in my life. Than my heart is kept and I am becoming “deliriously happy man”... :-) (m)
